In 2016, after 20 plus years as a graphic designer, I wanted to rediscover my passion for printmaking. I decided the best way to begin was to take a few printmaking classes and get back into the studio. During college I had focused on screen printing and etching, but I wanted to try something new. I discovered monotype. I love creating a monotype print because the process is very fluid. In 2019, I moved to North Carolina and I needed to find a way continue printmaking without a press. On any given day I can be found in my sunny, home studio either printing or carving a linocut.
