Original monotype, part of a diptych
Printed on heavyweight BFK Rives printmaking paper (200gsm) using premium oil-based inks
Image Size: 17.5” x 11.5”
Paper Size: Approximately 15” x 22.25”
Monotype printing is a unique printmaking technique in which the image is inked onto a smooth, non-porous plate. The image is then transferred to paper using a printing press or by hand to create a single, one-of-a-kind original print. Because almost all the ink transfers in one pass, only one fully vibrant print can be created.
